Champions in any competitive environment are celebrated, and for good reason. We celebrate the Springboks because they are world champions, not because they earned the title for participating at non-IRB events, they are world champions because they beat the best according to IRB rules. The same can be said about former UFC world middleweight champion, Dricus du Plessis. He is a former UFC champion because he beat the best according to UFC rules. He did not compete in EFC, or in WBC, and was awarded UFC points. The WBA boxing champion cannot become a WBC or unified champion without consent from the various organizations.

The principle is the same across all sports, or professional accrediting agencies. One agency cannot assume the points of another agency for their own members without written consent of the other agency, and there is a very good reason for this. It is to protect the authenticity of the title of a champion. Such a lofty status has to carry weight, it has to be protected, otherwise it looses the core meaning of what it should represent.

The American Bully breed is no different, no one can make a Bully a champion by assuming points from Bully Assure sanctioned shows. Bully Assure have not and will not sanction independent events. Bully Assure do not consent to other events using Bully Assure events for them to crown champions, this is in fact against our rules, it’s without our written consent, and therefore carry no weight.

Bully Assure crown champions only through points earned at Bully Assure sanctioned events. This is the only way to protect the true nature our champions, the only way to ensure the integrity of our champions are safeguarded. Any other approach to crown champions based on other events should be viewed as a cheap trick to accellerate champion status, and therefore making it null and void.

Let’s protect our champions, let’s make sure we do not fall for tricks that would ultimately destroy true champions.
