Hosting Prestigious Shows Across South Africa
In 2025, Bully Assure successfully organized four high-profile shows, demonstrating our commitment to showcasing the breed’s finest attributes. These events included one in Johannesburg, one in Port Elizabeth, and two in Cape Town. Each show served as a platform for breeders, owners and enthusiasts to connect, exchange knowledge, and celebrate the American Bully’s versatility and temperament.
The final show in Cape Town marked a historic milestone, assembling the largest gathering of American Bullies ever recorded in the city. This event was further distinguished by the participation of international judge Guido from Italy, whose expertise added a global perspective and enhanced the judging process. Such collaborations not only raised the bar for local competitions but also positioned Southern Africa on the international map for American Bully enthusiasts.

Establishing South Africa’s First Breeder Society
A pivotal achievement in 2025 was the formation of the Bully Assure Breeder Society (BABS), South Africa’s inaugural organization dedicated exclusively to American Bully breeders. This initiative addressed a long-standing need for structured governance and support within the community. Through a series of general meetings, we defined clear mandates focused on ethical breeding practices, health standards, and breed preservation. BABS has already begun to foster a collaborative environment, empowering members to uphold the highest levels of responsibility and innovation in breeding.
